ABOUT

On Saturday, June 21, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM, we invite you to join One Book One Bronx at the Museum for a screening of the film Azuei, followed by a panel discussion with Directors Jean Jean and Rachele Magliore facilitated by Clarivel Ruiz, Executive Director of Dominicans Love Haitians.

The film follows a multidisciplinary collective of Haitian and Dominican artists called Azuei—after the lake that separates the two Caribbean countries—on their 2021–2023 tour of the region. The tour was part of the Kiskey’Art project, which sought to strengthen relations between these two nations through the exchange of art and culture.
