About School Partnerships

The Bronx Museum’s school partnerships are deep collaborations with local partner schools in which students experience the Museum, meet artists, develop collaborative skills, and create art. These programs connect the Museum’s exhibitions to students’ coursework and their own creative making. Several of these partnerships are long-term, and through them, students can come to see the Museum as a site of learning, joy, and experimentation over several years.

We currently offer all NYC public schools the opportunity to connect closely with The Bronx Museum and its current exhibitions. Partners are provided with multi-session art curricula that partner teachers can use in their classrooms, as well as the opportunity for Museum visits. Each curriculum begins with a visit to The Bronx Museum.
