WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:
Tuesdays, 2 – 5 PM
January 27 – March 17, 2026
In-Person At The Bronx Museum
(1040 Grand Concourse)

As part of The Bronx Museum’s Lifelong Studio program of free art-making classes for adults age 55 and older, we are offering an eight-session workshop on alternative archiving processes.

In this workshop, participants will be encouraged to draw upon their personal archives— encompassing both past and present experiences—to inform their creative practice. Through engagement with media such as collage, printmaking, and cyanotype, participants will develop the skills to manipulate and experiment with photographic imagery. This process will support an exploration of how historical events can be interwoven with personal narratives to produce work that articulates identity, heritage, and place, and examine how selected artistic methods can enhance and clarify the conceptual message of their work.
