All are invited to The Bronx Museum for a Día de Muertos celebration! Enjoy art-making activities inspired by the holiday with artist Marco Saavedra—who has also created a communal Dia de Muertos altar at the Museum for the occasion.
You are welcome to bring objects and photos to contribute to the altar from October 22 – November 1, 2025 anytime during the Museum’s regular business hours (Wednesday – Sunday, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
At the Día de Muertos celebration on November 1, we will also be offering complimentary light refreshments courtesy of local restaurant La Morada! Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with your family, friends, neighbors, and ancestors with delicious food, fun art-making, and sharing of stories and memories.
This event is part of The Bronx Museum’s Family Programs, which offer free hands-on art experiences that are fun for all ages and accessible to young children and their caregivers.
