ABOUT THE EXHIBITION:
The fourteen NYC high school students participating in The Bronx Museum’s Teen Summer 2026 session are working with Educators to activate the Museum’s permanent collection.
They are approaching the collection with these questions: How do artists use their work as a form of resistance? How do artists defy convention? How do artists experiment with materials? Their selections will be presented at the Museum beginning October 9, 2026, and remain on view through winter 2027.

About Teen Programs
Every year, The Bronx Museum invites New York City high school students between the ages of 14–19 to apply for the fall, spring, and/or summer sessions of our exciting youth internship program! Twelve students are accepted into each cycle of the program and are paid to engage in art, culture, creative thinking, and collaboration.
Teen Programs are made possible in part through The Keith Haring Foundation, The Pinkerton Foundation, and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
